In Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, a 1960s-1970s seaside house reimagined between conservation and contemporary design. Vertical timber cladding, midnight blue joinery, generous openings onto the pine forest — a contemporary volume grafted onto the existing building, without touching a single maritime pine. The original house tells the story of the 1960s-1970s — the extension tells the story of 2025.
